The “9th THz Days” and the annual meeting of the GDR NanoTeraMIR was held in Dunkerque recently (Dunkirk, France) where students, academics and industrial partners came together to discuss the latest developments in the field of Terahertz (THz) and mid-infrared (MIR) Science and Technology. The conference was chaired by Gael Mouret (Université du Littoral) and Jean-François Lampin (IEMN, Lille). The technological advances have been extensive in the last decade with the realisation of new systems, opening up the possibility of further applications and fundamental studies in the underdeveloped THz spectral range, as well has offering new perspectives for the MIR.
