The second International Seminar on Nano-Electro-Mechanical Systems (NEMS) will be held in Toulouse, France, July 4-5, 2011.

This seminar is dedicated to researchers and engineers wishing to obtain a global view of recent developments in NEMS.
Both fundamental and technological subjects will be treated. The conference will present high level invited speakers, covering most of the hot topics on NEMS.
This conference is organised by the French Observatory for Micro & NanoTechnologies, (OMNT), which conducts reviews of scientific activities worldwide, and by Laas - CNRS, a French laboratory active in the domain of Information Sciences and Technologies and address complex systems. The scientific program of the conference was elaborated by the OMNT NEMS group, made up of experienced scientists active in NEMS from several French laboratories.

The conference will be held at the luxurious Hotel Pullman in the heart of the historical city. Toulouse is the capital of the Midi-Pyrénées region, which possesses wonderful tourist attractions and incredible cultural activities (environment, history, architecture, gastronomy, museums, etc.).
